Welcome to the Liquid Team - a dynamic software development company. We have created this site to help you to understand Liquid Team - who we are and what we can do for you and your business.

Who We Are

We are a focussed team of software and creative professionals who develop effective solutions for real users. Our wide range of experience of software development and graphic design is a starting point for client involvement, but overall we offer a team approach to help you, our clients. Particular areas of our in-house expertise are complemented by our network of partner organisations and individuals. We aim to offer good value at all times.

We are based in Edinburgh, Scotland but operate internationally. We have amassed considerable expertise in multimedia and Internet based solutions for business and educational applications. We have worked hard to build strong relationships with our clients by offering exceptional service and support. Age Concern England required a CD-ROM that would run on both Microsoft Windows and MacOS platforms.

The purpose of the CD-ROM was to take an existing brochure to help older people get the most of the internet. Where appropriate, animations and games were produced to make the most of the medium.

Key elements of the project were:

• content was produced in XML format to allow for reuse of the the material and the possiblity of a future multi-lingual version
• sourcing a suitable voice for narration. A professional actor was hired and a quality recording studio was used.
• providing a website for the client to view the current storyboard
• providing beta versions of the CD-ROM on schedule
• liasing with printers to produce appropriate proofs and the final delivery on time

Innovation Event Management

Innovation Event Management, an event management company based in West Lothian, needed to extend their systems on the Internet. We helped them to create a database driven system for:

• managing content on event sites
• online booking
• secure payment
• feedback forms
• management of contact database
• managing all content on their own website, including a pdf brochure.

Smart Cartridge

At Liquid Team we will take you through the entire process, from concept to construction to completion.

With Smart Cartridge we started with a flash animation to illustrate the financial benefits of using Smart Cartridge. From that we were commissioned to produce the entire website including a password protected franchisee bulletin board. We provided a wide range of associated services including search engine optimisation to ensure that the web site attracts as many visitors as possible.

The bulletin board delivers business benefits by providing an efficient communication channel to a rapidly growing network of franchises. It is built on the same technology as LiquidSite but includes:

• multi-level access. Only the administrator can post to the board.
• automatic emails are sent to the franchisees when something changes on the board

The general website communicates to customers and attracts potential franchisees to Smart Cartridge's powerful offering.

Affective Media

By combining experienced business sense with a designer's sharp eye, and working in partnership with your company, we will work to build you an identity that truly reflects the character of your company.

As a start-up business, Affective Media came to us with no corporate identity whatsoever. We came up with a branding package to represent their business, which is in emotion recognition software. This included a logo, styleguide, website and stationary.
