We believe that the information in websites should be accessible to everyone, even if they have disabilities such as limited vision. This website has four different versions to make it attractive, usable and accessible to as wide a range of people as possible.
The HTML version of the website is likely to be the most accessible version of the site and if in any doubt we advise that you use that version, which is first in the main menu and called 'Just the facts please'. Here you will be able to:
- change the text size by changing the settings in your browser
- change colours and screen resolution
- use screen readers and other technology that are widely available and that you are likely have installed if you have special requirements.
The other versions use Macromedia Flash and PDF. This website is managed using
Liquidsite, which produces the different versions. Each works off the same core content, so the aim is very much to offer the same information to all users by sychronising all the versions of the site.
